My name is Nicole Johnson and I’ve been redesigning houses for real estate investors since 1999. It all started when my husband, owner of Finishing Touches Remodeling (plug!), came home from meeting with a new investor on a property that he was going to be renovating and pulled out a paper napkin from his pocket and said, “this is how he wants to convert the garage into a mother-in-law suite”. I can’t recall my exact words, but they were not positive. The plan was awful! He then said, “Well, you make a new plan and I’ll pass it on”.

The rest is history!

I love what I do and over the past 25+ years I have worked with incredible people on diverse projects, ranging from multi-million dollar flips to 600-square-foot cottage rentals…I never tire of seeing the transformation!

In 2017, I had the amazing opportunity to serve as the off-screen designer for the entire season of HGTV's Flip or Flop Fort Worth. It was hard work but an experience not to forget!

In addition to running the back office for our rehab company, Finishing Touches Remodeling (plug, again!), we are also investors with an ever-growing portfolio of flips, short-term rentals, and long-term rentals.
